
Philip Uhde
Portfolio Manager
Phil Uhde is the founder and Managing Partner at Linonia. Phil previously founded and managed Echinus Partners from 2012-2020. He also served on the board of Interactive Brokers. Before that, he was part of a small team at SPO Partners. Phil holds a B.A. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Yale University.

Matthew Berner
Prior to joining Linonia, Matt served as a Managing Director at Berkshire Partners, where he was a member of the Stockbridge team that invests in publicly traded equities. He originally joined Berkshire on the private equity team, after starting his career at Goldman Sachs. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, graduating as a Baker Scholar.

Margot Hill
Margot Hill is a partner and the President and COO. Previously, she spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley in Prime Brokerage. From 2020 until 2025 she was the Head of Capital Introductions, Business Consulting and Strategic Content in the Americas. She graduated from Duke University with a BA in English in 2004.

Chris Glazek
Prior to joining Linonia, Chris worked at Echinus Partners and Anabranch, producing research on names including Chipotle, Formula 1, The New York Times, and Ferrari. He is also an award-winning investigative reporter and has written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Esquire, and other publications. Chris holds a BA/MA in History from Yale and an MPhil in European Literature from Cambridge University.

Michael Byrnes
Prior to joining Linonia, Mike was a senior associate at the Yale Investments Office, covering the domestic equity and absolute return portfolios. He also externed at Stockbridge, the public equity arm of Berkshire Partners, and worked for Matt Berner as an analyst. Mike holds a BS in Computer Science from Yale.

Michael Klarman
Michael Klarman, was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Anomaly Capital Management, a global long/short hedge fund, where he helped to build the business infrastructure and manage non-investment activities. Prior to Anomaly, Michael spent 19 years as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Highline Capital Management, a $4BN (at peak) long/short hedge fund.

Allie Reitman
Prior to joining Linonia, Allie served as Vice President of People & Development at Firmament, a structured capital solutions provider. She was responsible for all Executive Assistant, Administrative, Human Resources, and Public Relations functions. Allie holds a BS in Business Administration from Towson University and a Certificate in Human Resource Fundamentals from Baruch College.
